We have had a pretty fun day today, even though we had to spend most of it without Darrell. We did have him with us for church though. We snapped a pic of the family before we left this morning.
This afternoon we played a very rousing game of Chinese Checkers, which I worried the kids would get bored with, but they played again on their own tonight! We watched the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (one of my favorites!), and made the easiest cookies in the world! (See the recipe and picture below). We took cookies to Darrell at work, then came home and went for a walk. The weather was so nice and cool that we stayed out pretty late riding bikes and talking. Just a really nice day!

1/2 cup of vegetable oil
Mix then roll into small balls. Bake at 350* for 8 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. Frost and sprinkle. Yummy!

You are still the queen of cookies! You little Martha Stewart you! You guys are the cutest family and I finally realized that this baby will make the kids even - 2 boys and 2 girls!
What does Darrell do? Cam works every Sunday and we usually goof off with the camera in our Mac. Kudos to you for coming up with creative things to do on Sunday!
