Weekend Update

Amy and Amiah sent their "guys" to Fathers and Sons this weekend, so they were kind enough to include me as part of their Girls Weekend. Saturday morning they brought over donuts and chocolate milk to share, then we went bargain shopping at Savers and the Dollar Store. She found some clothes for her kiddos, and I found some plates and plate holders to use for a project I am planning for my volunteer moms at school. Here is the "before" pic. Stay tuned for the "after" pic!
Ezra and I went to Idaho City today to visit with my parents and my grandma on her 77th b-day. We had a great time having all of their attention totally on us. It was nice to visit, and the weather was so beautiful! We missed Darrell though. We are still trying to figure out how to get him home on Sundays!

Crawling

My baby is crawling!!!! I can't believe it! Seven months have gone by so quickly. We saw a couple of tiny babies in church today and I told Darrell I couldn't remember Ezra being that little and still. He reassured me that at one time he had been that still. Boy, how quickly time flies!

Had a very nice Mother's Day in Idaho City with the family. Left early to drive home with Darrell (We gotta get him a job that doesn't require him on Sundays!) and hang out with Ezra for the evening. Here is my Mom and Grandma with Ezra and I.

Finally...

I finally finished one of the projects I started before Ezra was born. (WAY before!) I saw this cute idea, I think at a quilting store, and decided to make my own, and forgo the pattern. I think it turned out pretty well! The one I copied had fabric letters, but I always take the easy route...I bought iron-on paper that I could put through the printer. So easy! Ezra enjoyed helping (along with Ty Pennington). Now to finish the other 2 that are cut out...
