Updates...

Boy...time does fly! Time for another whirl wind update to keep you all in the loop!

Our garden has done pretty well this year. We were able to make loads of salsa, and can some tomatoes. We got a few ears of corn, but mostly those rotten little squirrels were able to enjoy the fruits of Darrell's labor. Boo.

I think my days as part-time stay at home mom are numbered, so we have been trying hard to make them as fun as possible. Lots of silly and just normal kid stuff! Here are a few shots of my silly Ezra. Man, I love this kid!

Our Jakey is getting to be a big, happy boy (as long as he isn't tired or hungry)! Aside from a recent ear infection, he is healthy and strong. His giggle is infectious and he is trying hard to be a big boy and sit up. He really hates lying down or being reclined at all. The car seat is torture. Poor boy! I often find he has scooted clear to the edge of his crib, and he has his little arm hanging out of the side. He is the king of expressive looks, and often makes us laugh. We sure love this little guy!

Other than our cute kiddos, not too much going on around here. Darrell finished his airplane that his brother gave him and tried it last weekend in Idaho City. Taxied around a few times then went for it! It was not well balanced, or something, so it flippped pretty much right away. No too much damage, so as soon as he can repair the tips of the wings, get a new prop, and balance it better he'll try again!

My New Favorite Obsession

I LOVE Pinterest! I have files of things saved on my computer that mimmick the brilliance of this site. I will never again have to save to my computer or print another brilliant "idea" again! While perusing today, I came across this pic my sister showed me the other day. I found the source here, and did some of my own editing. What do you think? This quote was already displayed in our home, but now we have the pleasure of seeing it come to life!I can't wait to print it!
