Update

OK...no progress. Unless by some miracle this baby decides he wants to join us earlier, I am scheduled to go into the hospital Sunday night at midnight to start being induced. We should have a baby sometime Monday! FINALLY!

Still Kickin'

This baby is nice and cozy...he's not coming out! We went back to the doc yesterday and learned that I am still only a "1". I'll go back in on Tuesday to try to get the ball rolling, if nothing has happened by then. If we still haven't gotten anywhere by the 6th, my doc says she will induce for sure! Until then I am cleaning house, and trying to get myself organized and ready for my new life. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

All Bets Are On...

Well, about 5 days until I'm due. As of last Friday I was only dialated to a "1". I am anxious to see what the Dr. says this Friday. I have been having some Braxton Hicks, but not the real thing yet. I have a feeling that the baby is going to be late, but the kids and Darrell are being hopeful. We all put in our "bets" on the calendar. The winner gets a milkshake! Here are our predictions:

Darrell-September 27
Nici-October 1
Kaylee-September 25
Ashlan and Branson-September 29 (my actual due date...aren't they cute?)

Are we excited or what?

The kids were busy drawing pictures for the baby during church today. I thought they were pretty cute. This one says: I Love You Ezra! Love, the Twins.

(Ash and Brans think they are twins, I guess). I sure hope we stick with the name Ezra...could be hard to change now!

New Baby=New Stuff!

I think we have finally come to the realization that we are having a baby, and need to start looking for, and purchasing things necessary for his arrival. Since he is about 3 weeks (or so) away this seems like a good move! We started by looking for a car seat, which ended in frusteration as we couldn't seem to find the right combination of car seat, base, and stroller in the price range we were shooting for. So...we went home without anything! The next day Darrell made a trip to Babies-R-Us, while we were all at school, to try to check things out, and came home with a "surprise" for me. Here is it:

Not exactly a car seat and stroller, but I LOVE it!!! Everyone wanted me to leave it out in the living room for extra seating, but I knew I would never get to sit in it if I did that! So, it is in the baby's room...where I can use it for the purpose it was purchased!

Then, after our Dr. appointment yesterday we decided to go and look at mini-vans. I was sad about trading in my car, but we can't all fit once the baby comes so it is a necessary change! After a dinner break, and 2 1/2 hours of dickering with the guys (and piles of paperwork), we came home last night at about 9:30 with this:

So...I feel like an official "mom" now. Just waiting for our little bambino to seal the deal! Can't wait!
