Grandma's House

I have lost our camera cord in a box somewhere. Still haven't unpacked it. We had a rough week this week, and Aunt Amy and Grandma offered to take all four kiddos for me on Saturday so I could rest. Anyway, looks like they had a blast. Here are some pics Amy took and sent to me...

Our renovations on the house have stopped, as our funding has run out. When I find the cord I'll post pics of what we have done thus far. We we get more money, we'll do more! Can't wait!

Ok People, We're In!

So late Thursday night, with the gracious help of my sister Amy, we packed the last little bit in the van and walked out of our apartment for the very last time! Though we had many fond memories there, and it is the only "home" Ezra really knew, we were sure happy to leave! Our new house is FULL (I really mean full too...how did we get all of this crap...I mean "stuff" into a small apartment anyway?)and a total mess, but it feels like home! Trying to get motivated this morning to start putting stuff away. When there is so much to do, it is so overwhelming! We get our new fridge today too. Can't wait! I know it is so silly, but I have never "picked out" a fridge before. Great fun! (Especially since all of our food is in a cooler on the back porch.)

A HUGE thanks to everyone who helped us this last week: Aunt Amy for babysitting and cleaning, Uncle Drew for patching drywall and painting, Uncle Matt for lots of painting supplies and painting, Grandma Shelley for cleaning and packing the van, Steve and Kevin for helping unload, Grandpa Sorensen for re-keying our locks right away, Grandma Barnes for taking such good care of Ezra, Uncle Clay and Annie for helping to move and painting, and all of the other ward members and friends who helped us move. We are so blessed to have all of you in our lives. We look forward to having you over once our home is all put together!
